THE PROJECT
fusia.ca initially started as an extension of Fusia Magazine in 2013. The magazine was incredibly original as it was the first South Asian women’s magazine that addressed and provided information and insight pertaining to all aspects of South Asian women’s lives in Canada and the diaspora.

As the brand evolved though some significant changes over the years, Fusia media advanced into an online Media & News company with a new initiative partnering with Global News. Extending to yet another medium, kultur’D, a pop culture show with a lens on diversity was launched on Global News Radio. To reflect these major developments within the company, Fusia Media needed a new and improved website with some brand edits and additions.

Understanding our ideal user personas and prioritizing the user flows over page design was the first step in outlining our strategy. Infusion of pastel pinks with other design elements in our design process, we were able to create an engaging dance with Fusia's targeted, brand savvy growing market, resulting in increased amount of traffic to fusia.ca
